Excitement/anxiety

Have you ever been so excited yet so scared at the same time? It's a crazy feeling, and thats exactly how we are feeling right now. Tomorrow is the big day, the day that we will finally get to meet our little crue!! There are so many emotions we are feeling right now. There are so many things that we are excited for and so many things that we are afraid for. We are excited to finally meet him and see what he looks like! I think he will look a lot like Easton, and Joe doesn't know what to think. We can't wait to finally hold him in our arms and kiss his chubby cheeks! We can't wait to see Easton be a big brother, he is so excited he can't stop talking about it. We can't wait to be able to take him home and be a family...the list goes on and on!! As excited as we are we can't help but worry about a million other things that could go wrong...We worry about the surgery and we pray that everything goes perfectly. We worry about his heart and pray that its strong and healthy, we pray that he doesn't have any other health issues despite the ones that are associated with Spina Bifida. We pray that he will have some feeling in his legs despite how high they think his lesion is. We pray that the hydrocephalus hasn't caused any damage or gotten worse. There are so many other things that we worry and pray about but despite all of the worries we believe that everything will work out the way it's supposed to. We believe that the Lord will be by our side throughout this entire process, and we believe that he will continue to be with us throughout Crue's life. We know that this little boy was sent to us for a reason and that he is going to bless our lives in so many ways. We already love him so much it's crazy! We are so grateful for all the love and support from all of you. Thank you so much for all your prayers, we truly appreciate everything. Please continue to keep us in your prayers, we love you all. I promise to try and update this blog as much as I can. Wish us luck!!

Joe and I have a little bet going on how much we think Crue will weight!
Joe says he'll weight 7 lbs 6 oz and 20 in long
I say he'll weigh 7 lbs 12 oz and 21 in long
and easton says 7 lbs 13 oz and 21 inches
guess we will see who wins tomorrow!!!

  1. Aubrey! I hope your day today went well and that Crue's birthday has been a good one so far. I hope you recover quickly and that Crue's surgeries go as smooth as possible.

I went and visited with Easton for a few minutes last night and he couldn't wipe the smile off his face. He's going to be such an awesome big brother.

I love you all and can't wait to meet the little guy.

    xoxoxoxoxox!
